The artist to play on September 19th, 2012 is Coldplay!

The concert, co-promoted by Alter Art and Live Nation, will be a part of the band’s tour in support of its new album, Mylo Xyloto.

The band’s performance at Heineken Open’er 2011 was one of the first to feature songs from the then- unreleased album. At the same time, it was Coldplay's premiere concert in Poland, watched by over 60,000 fans. The next year will be a period of intense touring for Chris Martin’s band, playing over a dozen arenas in the US and in Europe and including 7 stadiums in the UK alone. Coldplay's tour map will also include Warsaw! 

Mylo Xyloto was released on October 24 and within just a month, made it to the UK Top 10 of bestselling records of 2011 with almost half a million copies sold. If you add over a million copies in the US and the remaining hundreds of thousands sold all over the world in less than two months, Coldplay's 5th record has been bought by over than 2,000,000 people. At the same time, the digital version broke the UK record for the highest number of download sales in one week, with over 80,000 digital copies. Completing it with #1's on the sales lists from Australia, through Denmark and Portugal to Mexico, it is sure that Coldplay polished another bestseller.

It should not be a surprise, as the band was unique from the very start. Each element of the band’s image and songs worked out in the smallest detail and a close-knitted circle of collaborators contribute to their uniqueness. Luckilly, Coldplay don’t stop surprising their audience, inviting Rihanna to appear on “Princess of China” or playing an intimate show for an audience of 500. What do they have in store for the Polish audience in just 9 months?
