Musician, filmmaker, perfectionist – Rob Zombie: he cannot simply indulge in one kind of art, he needs different projects to immerse himself in – projects to enchant and irritate his audience. Rob Zombie has always challenged people with his movies and his music and broken established rules.
His most successful and famous sphere of action is certainly music. No less than seven times, he was nominated for a Grammy, and he sold more than 15 million records worldwide. Over the course of the last two decades, ROB ZOMBIE has produced numerous videos and songs for metal superstar Ozzy Osbourne and numerous others.
Many soundtracks include his songs, and he does not hesitate to break genre rules when combining audio and video. In 1995, he was awarded the MTV music video award for White Zombie's (his former band's) song “More Human Than Human”. He made history: he was the first “self-producing artist“ who received the award.
Whenever it's about giving an excellent creative performance and writing something extraordinary, Rob Zombie is a master of his trade. He puts down on paper what others find impossible to write. That is what he will also bring to the stage of Vienna's Gasometer. Rob Zombie, finally live in Austria!
