Heretoir will embark on a European tour this fall, joined by Unreqvited and Nidare. Join us for an evening of expansive, emotionally charged post-metal on October 19th at Łącznik in Wrocław.
With Heretoir, it has always been about pure emotion. The Augsburg-based band released their fourth full-length album last year - “Solastalgia,” via AOP Records. Is it a radical stylistic shift? Not at all. But it’s fair to say this is their strongest work to date. The weight of accumulated эмоtions finds release in a collection of beautifully composed, memorable tracks, where post-metal atmospheres are enriched with instantly resonant melodies. Topped off with a cover of “Metaphor” by In Flames, the album firmly places Heretoir among Europe’s leading names in atmospheric heavy music.
Unreqvited was founded in 2016 by William Melsness, the mind behind Lifesick Lullaby and Cult of the Moon Records, as well as a session musician for Ghost Bath. Over the past decade, he has released seven full-length albums under the project, with the latest - “A Pathway to the Moon” - that arrived in February 2025 via Prophecy Productions. If you’re drawn to the emotional edge of blackgaze and post-metal, this is exactly where you need to be.
Opening the night will be Germany’s Nidare. The Berlin-based quintet, much like the rest of the lineup, operates at the intersection of post-metal and black metal, but stands out with a particularly intense delivery. They released their debut album “Von Wegen” in 2022, along with two EPs, and are expected to share new material ahead of the upcoming tour.
