Few artists can captivate an audience with nothing more than two acoustic guitars. Rodrigo y Gabriela return to Poland with a new album and will perform on April 20 at Progresja in Warsaw and the following day at Zaklęte Rewiry in Wrocław.
Rodrigo y Gabriela are masters of blending flamenco with influences drawn from rock and heavy metal. The duo from Mexico City broke onto the international stage twenty years ago with their self-titled album, which led to appearances on some of the world's biggest stages - including a headline slot on one of the stages at Glastonbury Festival, as well as sold-out performances at the Hollywood Bowl, London's Royal Albert Hall, and the Sydney Opera House. The pair also performed at the White House during a special event hosted by Barack Obama for the President and First Lady of Mexico.
Their 2019 album “Mettavolution” earned them a Grammy Award, and their discography is about to expand once again with “OurHome”, a new album recorded in Japan and set for release soon.
