Babe Haven and Latter will perform on November 18th at VooDoo in Warsaw!
Hailing from North Carolina, Babe Haven combine the defiant spirit of riot grrrl with the crushing weight of nu metal. Their songs tackle resistance, solidarity, and the empowerment of queer and female voices, while their live shows are known as much for their chaotic energy as for the strong sense of community they create. The band has already shared stages with Mannequin Pussy, Otoboke Beaver, Soft Play, and Teen Mortgage, and on their recently released album “Nuisance” they push their sound even further, blending punk, thrash, and nu metal while cementing their status as one of the most exciting new voices on the American alternative scene.
Latter, meanwhile, are a Chicago-based project operating at the intersection of noise rock, performance art, and experimental sound. Founded by sound artist Meredith Haines and drummer Jonathan Alvarado (Beach Bunny), the duo quickly gained attention for their uncompromising approach built on tension, noise, and emotional honesty. Haines also appeared as a guest on “Despair,” the closing track of last year's Crippling Alcoholism album, while the band has already toured alongside acts such as Heart To Gold, WHORES., and Stay Inside.
