Beatdown will take over Poznań on November 10th. Nasty return to Poland and will perform at 2Progi alongside genre legends Crawlspace and the UK's Pintglass!
Nasty are often referred to as the kings of beatdown, and it’s hard to argue with that. The Belgian-German outfit have been one of the genre’s leading forces throughout the 21st century. From the very beginning, they caught the attention of the European hardcore scene with their sheer aggression on stage, while their first two albums, “Declaring a War” and “Aggression”, made it clear they had no interest in half measures. Their live shows are always delivered at full force and without compromise, as many of you have already witnessed over the years, whether during their Never Say Die! headlining run or alongside Terror.
Looking for the roots of Nasty’s sound? There are plenty of possible influences, but one of the most obvious is Crawlspace, who will be joining them on this autumn tour. A cult name within beatdown circles, Crawlspace built their reputation by injecting their vicious style with elements of thrash and even death metal. Their discography consists of just two full-length albums and two EPs, but if you’ve never heard “Don't Get Mad... Get Even” or “Enter the Realm of Chaos”, consider this your homework.
Rounding out the package are Britain's Pintglass, a band that proudly describe themselves as “the best thing since canned beer.” They even have a song dedicated to one of Belgium’s most famous lagers, making them a fitting addition to this lineup. Musically, they smash beatdown and deathcore together with zero subtlety, and that’s exactly why you’re going to love them.
