Manchester is one of the world’s capitals of indie music. So what does the city’s fresh new talent sound like? Alex Spencer is the perfect answer. From busking on the streets, to performing on the pitch at the Etihad Stadium before a Manchester City Champions League match, to supporting Louis Tomlinson and selling out a headline show in his hometown - all of this happened within just one year, proving that anything is possible for this young musician.
He already has three EPs under his belt, one of his songs was featured in EA SPORTS FC 25, and his upcoming track “A Song For Our City” has already been teased by The Citizens’ official profiles. Honesty, youthful imagination, nostalgia and a knack for writing catchy melodies - you’ll find all of that in Alex’s music!
First up on the BARdzo Bardzo stage will be weeklyn, an artist from Minsk whose music draws heavily on the influence of Lil Peep. His discography is currently rounded off by the album “SCRAPED”, released in March.
