The “Tech It Easy!” tour will make its way across Europe this September, stopping at two venues in Poland! Allegaeon, Gorod and Halysis will serve up finely crafted and meticulously executed death metal in Warsaw and Kraków!
Allegaeon have been around for nearly two decades, and over the years they have developed their own unique take on death metal, combining technical virtuosity with striking melodies. The Colorado quintet currently have seven full-length albums to their name, each one showcasing their evolution as a band. Released last year, “The Ossuary Lens” is the latest addition to their discography and the first album recorded with original vocalist Ezra Haynes back in the lineup. His return has, both symbolically and literally, breathed new life into the band. Catch them live this September and see for yourselves.
When it comes to the French school of progressive/technical death metal, Gorod are undoubtedly one of its most representative bands. The group was formed in 1997 under the name Gorgasm and has been known as Gorod since 2005. Their blend of technical death metal classics with the freedom of ’70s jazz, funk and rock makes them one of the most exciting bands in their field, as showcased on their latest album to date, “The Orb”, released in 2023.
On the “Tech It Easy!” tour, Allegaeon and Gorod will share the stage with Finland’s Halysis. Hailing from Lahti, the band combines technical, melodic and progressive metal, creating music that seamlessly shifts from almost ballad-like delicacy to the overwhelming chaos of extreme metal. Their latest five-track EP, “Of Static Slumber”, is a cohesive journey through the inner world of a patient in a coma, inspired by the successive stages of grief and loss.
