The show “ALIZÉ” will take place at the Theater am Potsdamer Platz.
Cirque du Soleil’s first permanent European show.
Cirque du Soleil has announced the world premiere of its first permanent European show, ALIZÉ, which debuted in November 2025 at the Theater am Potsdamer Platz in Berlin. The new show takes audiences on a journey into the invisible world, combining groundbreaking artistry and breathtaking magic in an adventure that transcends the boundaries of imagination. ALIZÉ is Cirque du Soleil’s 54th original production and its first permanent residency in Europe, following the company’s debut in Germany 30 years ago. Since a new era began in 1995 with Saltimbanco, 16 productions have toured in the Grand Chapiteau or in arenas across 16 German cities. Berlin is considered the ideal location for Cirque du Soleil’s first permanent show in a European metropolis, thanks to its cosmopolitan character and international appeal. Cirque du Soleil also intends to highlight its special connection to Berlin through this production. In this new, innovative creation, where artistry blends with magic, the artists embark on a journey into a surreal world. They seek to unveil the invisible and thus uncover the hidden magic that lies behind reality. This poetic journey is full of wonders, mysteries, and magic. Audiences are transported to a world where the impossible becomes possible, and what is hidden reveals its secrets. Captivating acrobatics and magical visuals blur the boundaries between reality and imagination. ALIZÉ celebrates the magic of humanity, immersing itself in a cosmos full of fantasy and wonders. The Theater am Potsdamer Platz is being renovated to meet the unique technical requirements of this permanent production.
