GIBRAN ALCOCER

Gibran Alcocer, a young Mexican composer who has quickly become one of the most prominent figures on the modern classical music scene, will perform on October 1 at Progresja in Warsaw!

Gibran Alcocer is a pianist from the Yucatan region of Mexico. He has been developing his skills as a composer and producer since the age of twelve, and he gained wider attention in 2021 when he began posting his interpretations of various songs on TikTok.

In 2022, Gibran debuted with his own material. “Idea 10” enjoyed immense popularity on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, as did his subsequent compositions—“Idea 22,” “Idea 1,” “Idea 9,” and “Idea 15.” Just a year later, he was invited to collaborate with six-time Latin Grammy winner Tainy on his album “Data.”

Alcocer creates minimalist compositions teeming with beautiful melodies. It’s no wonder, then, that he is becoming an increasingly important figure on the modern classical scene year after year. Don’t miss his first concert in our country!
