Half Me fuse modern metalcore with elements of '90s nu-metal and tie it all together with relentless intensity. You'll get to experience it firsthand on December 3 at their show at Mechanik in Warsaw! oining them as special guests will be Japan’s Prompts and Germany’s Kora Winter.
Half Me was formed in Hamburg in 2018 as a fresh start for every member of the band. Their music has never been about comfort - from day one, the Germans have focused on crushing intensity and emotional weight, crafting songs where sheer brutality goes hand in hand with disarming honesty. In recent years, they have toured alongside Thrown and Resolve, earning a reputation as one of the most exciting young bands on the scene. Their recently released single “Weather Eye” proves that Half Me are entering a new chapter of their career at full speed.
Tokyo-based Prompts are a hybrid metalcore act where sheer heaviness meets chaotic yet deeply emotional songwriting. They have already shared stages with bands such as Crossfaith, Crystal Lake, The Plot In You, and Counterparts, while in recent years they have been making an increasingly strong impact beyond Japan. In June, they released their new EP, “Parasite Dream”, via Prompts - the label founded by Ryan “Tuck” O’Leary of Fit For A King and Leo Valeri of Brand of Sacrifice.
Rounding out the lineup will be Kora Winter - a Berlin-based band combining screamo, hardcore, and technical metal, while also incorporating psychedelic sounds into their music. The band have released two full-length albums, “BITTER” and “Gott segne, Gott bewahre”, and over the years have shared stages with the likes of Jinjer, Rolo Tomassi, and Thrown. Their music released this year showcases Kora Winter at an even heavier and more uncompromising level, while their distinctive German-language lyrics further enhance the atmosphere of their sound.
