Nothing will play one more concert in our country! We will hear their emotionally charged shoegaze, which pushes genre boundaries, live once again on September 1st at Warsaw's Hydrozagadka. The evening will be opened by the Norwegian band Hammok.
Domenic Palermo debuted with Nothing over 15 years ago, and during this time, he has earned a reputation as one of the most distinctive artists on the shoegaze scene. He dedicated the second decade of the 21st century to releasing successive albums and promoting them on non-stop tours. After releasing the record "The Great Dismal" in 2020, Nothing returned with a collaborative release alongside Full of Hell, titled "When No Birds Sing," but it is "A Short History of Decay," released in February of this year, that marks the band's full-fledged return. Their first full-length release in six years stands out in their discography with even greater honesty than before, drawing the listener into its intimate world from the very first seconds. Live, these emotions resonate with double the intensity.
Emerging from the Norwegian hardcore scene, the noisy trio Hammok is one of the most promising bands from the North. Their music is a fierce, uncompromising fusion of genres that leaves no one indifferent. The band achieved an immediate breakthrough in 2023 following a legendary and shocking concert at the Eurosonic Noorderslag festival, which the Dutch music portal 3voor12 named the second-best performance of the entire edition. In 2024, Hammok released their debut album, "look how long lasting everything is moving forward for once," before embarking on a massive concert and festival tour across Europe and the United Kingdom.
