Sean Paul, a 21st-century music icon and an artist who has permanently changed the landscape of global pop, will perform on May 20 in Warsaw at the COS Torwar Arena! The creator of countless hits, a GRAMMY Award winner, and one of the most important ambassadors of Jamaican dancehall will present a concert in the capital featuring a cross-section of songs that have been heating up dance floors around the world for years. The duo DJ Noz & Naro will perform as the opening act.
Sean Paul began his musical journey in Kingston, where he first conquered the Jamaican charts, only to find himself at the very top of the U.S. charts a few years later. His breakthrough album “Dutty Rock” was a global success, earning him a GRAMMY Award and launching classics such as “Get Busy,” “Like Glue,” and “I’m Still In Love.” At the same time, his distinctive voice appeared on global hits by other artists, including Beyoncé’s “Baby Boy” and Blu Cantrell’s “Breathe.” The following years were a string of successes and collaborations, including with Sia (“Cheap Thrills”), Dua Lipa (“No Lie”), Major Lazer, and David Guetta, which only confirmed his unique position at the intersection of dancehall, pop, and club music. Honored with an Order of Merit by the Jamaican government in 2019, with years filled with awards and hits that have earned him a massive global fanbase, Sean Paul remains one of the most recognizable and influential figures in contemporary music.
