Triggerfinger are back in a fresh new form, with their first album in nearly a decade, and they will bring it to Poland for two shows in October: October 24th at 2Progi in Poznań and the following day at Hydrozagadka in Warsaw.
The Benelux region isn’t exactly known for its abundance of rock’n’roll bands. But if you had to pick a fitting representative of the genre from this part of Europe, Triggerfinger would be an ideal candidate. Over their quarter-century career, the Belgians have established themselves as a band perfectly at home in alternative rock with a subtle stoner edge, while also being unafraid to surprise listeners with an unconventional approach - both to their own compositions and to covers.
In 2026, Triggerfinger will finally return with the follow-up to their 2017 album “Colossus”. It will be the band’s first record since the death of their bassist, Monsieur Paul. The group, who have among other achievements supported The Rolling Stones at London’s Hyde Park, will open a new chapter in their career with an autumn tour. Triggerfinger will be preceded at both Polish shows by a joint performance from Lou Lou Safran and Burn This Song. The former is a 20-year-old singer and songwriter who has already brought her rock’n’roll to stages on both sides of the Atlantic, from the Opole Amphitheatre to legendary Los Angeles clubs. She has worked with artists including Desmond Child, Stevie Van Zandt and Josh Homme, while her music combines youthful directness with a love of classic rock sounds.
Burn This Song, meanwhile, are a Poznań-based power trio that don’t believe in half measures. Their live shows are all about loud guitars, hypnotic melodies and syncopated walls of sound. The band caught attention even before playing their first show, when their music was featured on the soundtrack of Ross Katz’s film “The Choice”. Now the two acts will join forces especially for these two nights with Triggerfinger.
